Pan Fried Green Beans

This is a staple side dish in my household. Quick and easy to prepare and cook alongside mains.

 

Ingredients

 

250g Green Beans

Pinch of salt

2 tsp Olive Oil

2 Garlic Cloves – minced

1 Tbsp Vegan Butter – optional

 

 

Method

Heat a large frying pan on Medium to High heat.

Wash and rinse the beans and then add to the pan and fry for 6 minutes, tossing regularly.

Add a pinch of salt and then add the oil and fry for 3 minutes, keep an eye on them that they get some colour but don’t burn.

Add the garlic and fry for 2 minutes until the garlic browns. If using the butter, add this now.

When the garlic is browned and the beans are softened, time to serve.
